Installing Oracle Service Bus 11g – Part 2: Creating Service Bus Domain

After installation Part 1: Installation OSB / OEPE – now we will create our Service Bus Domain

The facility is divided into 2 parts as follows, see the link each to see the other Parties:

If you have already made to Part 1 of the installation and therefore its dependencies that are described there, we will now create our domain, if you have not done, would suggest getting in Part 1 and check what has been installed to make sure that you already have everything what we need. Run the following command to execute the file needed to create our Domain

  • /home/uans/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_OSB1/common/bin/config.sh

Note: See above which is a common way that I installed on my profile, then put the path where your Oracle_OSB1

Will open the screen below, then let the option Create a new WebLogic domain selected and click Next

In the screenshot below just select the option Oracle Service Bus for developers 11.1.1.7 [Oracle_OSB1] and click Next

Note: more options will be marked automatically.

In the screenshot below in Domain name change the name to one of your own, in my case put domainBus subsequently click Next

In the screenshot below specify a password *User password and repeat in *Confirm user password and click Next

In the screenshot below change the parameters so that they are exactly like the screen below describe what should be changed

  • Vendor: Oracle
  • Driver: *Oracle’s Driver (Thin) for instance connections: Versions:9.0.1 and later
  • Schema Owner: DEV_SOAINFRA
  • Schema Password (coloque a senha que você definiu ao instalar o RCU)
  • DBMS/Service: xe
  • Host Name: localhost
  • Port: 1521

Later click Next

In the screenshot below verify that appeared to Test Sucessful message, if so click Next, otherwise return their previous display settings and review your data.

Below check the Adminstration Server on to the door we change our domain, then click Next

Listen on port change the value 7001 to 8001 (Here I am only showing where we can change the door of our Domain, you can also put a value of your choice), then click Next

Click below Create

Now click Done

Ready, your installation of Service Bus Domain was successful.

Let’s start your Domain for this run the following command:

  • /home/uans/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/domainBus/startWebLogic.sh

Wait until the screen shown below showing messages RUNNING

In your browser go to the address http://localhost:8001/sbconsole

Note: The 8001 port is the number I chose to create my Domain.
