Instalalling Oracle SOA Suite 12c – Parte 7: Oracle JDeveloper

In this post I will show where our Oracle JDeveloper version 12.2.1.2.0, since in version 12c it was already installed when you install the SOA Suite.

The JDeveloper IDE is used to create and deploy SOA Composition

This installation will be done on Ubuntu Linux 64bit version: 16:04, the minimum hardware and software for Oracle SOA Suite 12c installation can be found here: http://docs.oracle.com/html/E18558_01/fusion_requirements.htm 

The facility is divided into parts as follows, see the link each to see the other Parties:

• Part 1: Oracle Database XE 11g
• Part 2: Java SE Development Kit 8 – JDK
• Part 3: SOA Suite 12.2.1.2.0
• Part 4: Repository Creation Utility (RCU)
• Part 5: SOA Developer Domain
  
• Part 6: Configuring Domain
• Part 7: Oracle JDeveloper 12.2.1.2.0

Also different from SOA Suite 11g version, it is no longer necessary to download a separate file for the JDeveloper already inside the folder where we run our first Download

As the way of installation of the bin folder as follows:

• cd /app/oracle/homeOracle12c/jdeveloper/jdev/bin

Now run the following command

• ./jdev

Below just click OK

On the screen below click No

On the screen below click OK

After you click OK our JDeveloper is now ready for our development
